As an Enterprise level Systems Architect with software focus, you translate business needs and ambitions into concrete, robust and appropriate solution architectures. You are part of the Architecture and Requirements team within Systems Engineering. You will be working with products within the dairy farming industry, such as milking robots, feed stations, etc. This is a small team with big possibilities to influence the product development of DeLaval. The team provides highest knowledge of our solutions and up to date technologies of the industry. Key responsibilities: Develop vision and strategy for realizing system features and how products should work together in a system (Hardware and Software Platform ownership) Architectural preparation of Product Owner initiatives to make sure that they are aligned with the DeLaval overall technical strategy Support overall portfolio planning with detailed knowledge about architectural dependencies, limitations, and options according to architectural strategy Drive definition and maintenance of architecture in alignment with Product Owners and Supply Chain, meeting organization and business needs Qualifications and experience Master of Science university degree (technical faculty or similar) Ideally, about 5 years of experience in working with product development and software system architecture Understanding Distributed systems, IoT devices, communication links and embedded systems Holistic view on product development for cost effective performance, installation, troubleshooting and configuration Broad knowledge of architecture design to make SW development and maintenance efficient Good communication skills in English Working at DeLaval Our core values Passion, People, Professionals and Partnerships connect individuals across entities and geographies.
