Position Description

CGI is looking for an experienced and seasoned technology leader to join our team to help support a rapidly changing environment. This is a high impact role at the intersection of technology strategy and modernization, customer success and high quality service delivery. You will work directly with C-level stakeholders to define and guide IT Transformation journeys and architect modern infrastructure solutions.

Your future duties and responsibilities

• Act as the senior technical advisor to enterprise customers, aligning their business goals with impactful IT strategies and solutions.
• Lead enterprise architecture design and implementation across on-prem and cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity and application portfolios.
• Define strategic roadmaps for infrastructure modernization and operational scalability.
• Collaborate with customer executives and internal teams to shape transformation roadmaps, migration strategies, technology adoption plans, and scalable IT strategies.
• Champion technology innovation, driving the adoption of cloud-native services and enabling ongoing automation.
• Provide technical leadership on solution design, ensuring alignment with architectural best practices, security, performance, and cost efficiency.
• Support pre-sales engagements and proposals by articulating high-value technology strategies and delivery approaches.
• Stay ahead of emerging trends and evaluate their relevance to client-specific challenges and industry demands.
• Coach and mentor delivery teams, architects and build client confidence through thought leadership and executive engagement.
• Represent CGI at strategic forums, CXO briefings, and industry panels as a senior technology voice
• Lead high-impact design sessions, risk reviews, and technical deep dives

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

Essential Requirements:

• 12+ years of experience in IT architecture, consulting, or technical leadership roles, with a strong background in enterprise IT environments.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF).
• Proven technical depth in enterprise infrastructure (data centers, cloud platforms, networking, virtualization, hybrid IT)
• Demonstrated success in leading complex technology transformations at scale.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, especially with C-suite executives.
• Strong grasp of security, compliance, and governance across regulated industries.
• Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for business stakeholders and build consensus across cross-functional teams.
