Job Description of Role : Enterprise Architect will design, build, and develop customer products and programs, and will provide thought leadership to customers and project teams through technology leadership.

The enterprise solution architect must have played a technology leadership role as solution architect, enterprise architect, or technology architect, leading the technology and architecture design and development of complex enterprise-level software products and programs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


• Architecture Design:

o Develop and implement enterprise architecture models and scalable, reusable, and secure designs for digital engineering programs.

o Create architectural solutions that integrate business processes, operating systems, and applications.

o Able to implement the latest technology framework in web and mobile technologies.

o Have a fair understanding and working experience of DevOps pipeline setups, monitoring, and adherence to CI/CD concepts.

• Migration Strategy & Roadmap

o Define and document a comprehensive strategy and phased roadmap for migrating .NET libraries to Java and Python.

o Analyze and prioritize libraries based on business impact, technical complexity, and dependencies

• Assessment & Planning

o Conduct deep analysis of existing .NET codebase and architecture to identify migration challenges and opportunities.

o Perform gap analysis and define architecture-level refactoring requirements.

o Provide estimations, timelines, and resource requirements for migration initiatives.

• Strategic Planning:

o Set the strategic direction for the clients' IT applications and programs.

o Define and articulate the implications of enterprise architecture strategies, goals, and viewpoints.

• Project Management:

o Lead cross-functional teams to facilitate the creation of optimal architectures.

o Provide technical expertise, roadmaps, and guidance to project teams.

• Quality Assurance:

o Review individual system and application designs for architectural conformance and overall software quality.

o Ensure the technical feasibility of projects and adherence to quality standards.

• Documentation and Reporting:

o Create, own, and maintain architectural artifacts such as building blocks, models, and governance documents.

o Owns and manages different architecture diagrams, class diagrams, component diagrams etc.

o Report on project progress and architectural conformance to stakeholders.

• Innovation:

o Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in web technologies to continuously improve the architecture and solutions

• Customer alignment

o Able to brainstorm technology and design ideas with the onshore architect and the customer and suggest efficient and suitable technology solutions

• Risk Management

o Identify and mitigate technical risks associated with platform and language transitions.

• Ensure business continuity, performance, and compliance requirements are met throughout the migration.

• Legal domain experience is a plus.

Primary (Must have skills)* • Proven experience as an Enterprise Solution Architect or similar role in large-scale application modernization or re-platforming efforts.

• Strong technical background with hands-on experience of 18+ years in software development and IT infrastructure with a minimum 6+ years in an architect role.

• Technical design level thinking for digital enterprise-level programs development

• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.

• Proficiency in architectural frameworks and methodologies.

• Experience in migration projects – defining the migration strategy, roadmap, and estimations 

• Extensive experience in web development and enterprise architecture, with a strong understanding of backend and frontend web technologies and frameworks like .NET Framework/Core, Java, C#, React, Node.js, Angular, HTML/CSS3, Python, API, SQL or similar query language technologies. Strong understanding of multi-language systems integration.

• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, cloud infrastructure, and source code repositories

• Nice to know GenAI and data engineering foundation-level concepts.

• Working experience of managing cloud infrastructure using Azure, Amazon, or Google cloud technologies

• Able to lead the technical team by providing guidance.

• Have experience of working with global delivery hybrid teams

• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.

• Able to lead, groom, and guide the team from technology and design level aspects

• Strong organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking

• Strong leadership, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills

• Being flexible and able to adjust plans as project requirements change 

Experience Range 18-20 years
