Job Title: Enterprise Architect – Financial Services Domain – Capital Markets

Job Summary:

Seeking a seasoned Enterprise Architect with a deep background in the Financial Services domain to lead the design and integration of enterprise solutions aligned with our business goals. The role demands experience in Capital Markets, cloudtechnologies, and microservices integration patterns, ensuringthat proposed solutions meet both the technical requirements and the overarching business strategy.

As a Enterprise Architect, this role’s focus will be on designing scalable, reliable, and secure solution architectures that align with business objectives, while working closely with technical architects, engineering teams, and key stakeholders to ensure successful implementation. This role will bridgethe gap between business objectives and technical execution, ensuring that solutions are cost-effective, high-performing, and future-proof.


Support design of RFP, build vs buy decision making, selection of right COTS solution, supporting in defining and prioritizing business aligned technology roadmap, reducing technical debt, being part of Architectural Review boards.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Business Alignment: Understand business goals and translate them into high-level solution architectural designs that align with both immediate and long-term organizational strategies.
  2. Solution Design: Lead the design of end-to-end solutions, cloud, and integration technologies, ensuring they are scalable, secure,and meet operational requirements. Design RFP, taking architectural design decisionsincluding Build vs Buy, COTS solution selection, prioritization of technical debt aligned with architectural principles and roadmap
  3. Collaboration with Technical Teams: Work in tandem with Technical Architects, engineering teams, and DevOps practitioners to ensure the architectural visionis implemented successfully, balancing the needs of the business with technical constraints.
  4. Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contactfor senior businessleaders and ensure that solution proposals meet both business and technical expectations.
  5. Cloud Strategy: Good exposure of cloudstrategy for critical financial applications, considering on-premises, hybrid,and public cloud solutions (AWS, Azure) as part of the modernization effort. Medium (different team, interaction needed)
  6. Integration with Legacy Systems:Develop strategies for integrating new solutions with legacy systems, ensuring smooth transition without disrupting business operations.
  7. Security Governance: Ensurethat all solutions adhere to the best practicesin security, especially considering the regulatory environment of the financial industry.Medium/ Low (it is a different team, but team interaction needed)
  8. Documentation and Best Practices: Ensurethat all solutiondesigns are fully documented and adhere to best practices in architecture governance, to support long-term scalability and adaptability.
  9. Team Collaboration: Foster strongpartnerships with internaland external teams (e.g., technical architects, data architects, and DevOps teams) to ensure that solution delivery is on track and aligned with the enterprise's standards.


Required Skills:

  1. Capital Markets experience (Trade & Settlements, Onboarding etc)
  2. Experience on COTS solutions like Murex, Calayso, Sonata, TCS B@NCS, Markitor any other
  3. Trading and settlements platform Knowledge of Data Architecture (Data modeling)
  4. Should have supportedRFP design, buildvs buy decision making, working with business stakeholders understanding their problems and find solution, banking solution selection.
  5. Define, design and maintain architectural and industry blueprints.
  6. Architectural DesignPatterns (e.g., MVC, SOA, Event-DrivenArchitecture)
  7. Cloud Technologies: Expertise in AWS, Azure andmulti-cloud solutions
  8. Integration experience – API architecture, Kafka and Event Streaming
  9. Integration Patterns:Microservices, event-driven architecture,API management
  10. Experience with Business Architecture and domain modelling – BIAN knowledge beneficial
  11. Enterprise architect who has full view of Tools, solutions of capital markets, setting Roadmap.
  12. DevOps: Understanding of DevOps principles to ensure seamlessintegration and continuous delivery
  13. Security Best Practices: Knowledge of securityframeworks to ensurethat solutions complywith banking regulations
  14. Collaboration and Leadership: Strong ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations
  15. Communication: Ability to clearly articulate the architectural visionand guide decision-making processes across business and technical teams


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with financial servicesregulations and compliance
  • Strong understanding of financial systems solution architecture
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related fields.
  • TOGAF 9.1/9.2 (Nice to have)
