Recruit with Purpose are looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect to join a growing IT team in one of the UK’s leading Housing Associations. In this role, you’ll define and drive the organisation’s architectural vision and strategy, ensuring their technology and digital initiatives align with business objectives.


Your focus will be on designing a cohesive framework that integrates systems and processes to enhance efficiency and service delivery.


Key Responsibilities in this role:


  • Architectural Strategy – Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture framework, ensuring alignment with the organisation’s strategic goals.
  • Technology Roadmap – Working with the Head of IT to help define and maintain a clear roadmap for IT investments and initiatives, balancing short- and long-term objectives.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration – Work closely with senior management, department heads, and key stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Technology Assessment – Evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and platforms to enhance operational capabilities and service delivery.
  • System Integration – Oversee the seamless integration of IT systems and applications, ensuring data flow and interoperability.
  • Performance & Optimisation – Monitor and analyse system performance, recommending improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Leadership & Mentorship – Guide and mentor IT teams on architectural best practices
  • Industry Engagement – Build and maintain relationships within the housing sector and wider tech industry to benchmark against best practices and stay ahead of emerging trends.


What they’re Looking For:


  • Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect or similar role, ideally within the housing or public sector but sector experience isn't essential.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).
  • Experience with cloud computing (Azure), data management, and integration solutions.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A solid understanding of technology trends and best practices within housing associations.

  • 28 days’ annual leave (plus Bank Holidays) and birthday off
  • Up to £85,000 for the right individual
