We seek driven individuals to join DSTA, where you will design, develop, integrate, test and operationalise capabilities with game changing technologies for national security.

Examples Include

• Conceptualisation, architecting and design of seaworthy and efficient naval platforms, including surface ships, submarines and unmanned surface vehicles, to support the development of a modern naval fleet
• Design verification (including model tank testing, computational simulations and structural analysis) to ensure vessel design meets safety, performance and regulatory standards
  
  

SCOPE OF WORK

You will work in a cross-disciplinary team of engineers with experienced mentors, and hone your knowledge of Naval Architecture to:

• Develop, test, and deliver game-changing engineering solutions
• Architect and integrate best-of-breed systems worldwide to deliver cohesive capabilities
• Experiment and evaluate new technologies for operationalisation
• Ensure products meet the highest standards of performance, safety and reliability
• Collaborate and co-develop technologies with leading organisations, companies and research institutions from both Singapore and internationally
• Tertiary qualification in Naval Architecture or Mechanical Engineering
• Proficiency in Computer Aided Design modelling is advantageous. Experience in software such as NAPA would be advantageous.
• Innovative and willing to learn new skills and expand into exciting new tech domains
• Dynamic personality with good interpersonal skills; self-driven with a can-do spirit
• Willing to travel for overseas work trips
