What You'll Do
Perform hands-on troubleshooting, preventive and correct maintenance on test equipment in our labsTroubleshooting mechanisms and electro-mechanical systemsTroubleshoot electrical controls, data acquisition systems, safety systems, and sensorsPerform the fabrication, assembly, and/or modifications of automated test equipment including controls, actuators, and safety controlsProduce or revise test equipment procedures and documentationSupport development and testing of new tests and test equipment
What You'll Bring
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and instructions in order to fabricate metal parts & components. This includes the ability to understand and use CAD filesMachine tool & metal fabrication skills are required. Welding skillset required. Various methods and metals such as stainless steel. Previous fabricator / fab shop experience required. Machine tool experience including manual and CNC milling desired. 3D printing knowledge desiredKnowledge of a variety of fasteners, adhesives, and general best practices for the use of hand tools/ power toolsFamiliarity with Automation, PLC’s, Data acquisition, Electrical controlsAbility to wire up control panels, PLCs, sensors, and various controls and data acquisition equipmentHigh awareness of safety hazards, procedures, and best work practices as it relates to high energy systemsWorking knowledge of MS Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook)Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skillsEager to learn, independently motivated, and proactive

Expected Compensation
$24.40 - $56.40/hour + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
