Position Summary
The Engineering Technician is responsible for supporting both mechanical and electrical parts pertaining to the most critical line functions within the product engineering.
Support critical areas on both WA/WB lines to ensure all equipment and parts within these locations are working properly and according to specifications. Assist the development and implementation of new models and identify solutions for porudt issues of current/new models.
Role and Responsibilities
Second Shift
Level 2 and above should be able to perform the tasks or qualify the basic requirements for the previous level
Level 1
Perform daily tasks to verify and follow-up on quality standards & rules
Part Inspection by using proper tools
Report all findings to the team members
Support Repair Deck
Support Washing Machine Rework
Support Washing Machine SET and Material Shipment
Support Engineering Team members in their works (Part Approval, CR Registration, and machine maintenance)
All other duties as assigned
Level 2
Collaborate with Production and Engineering to implement, optimize, and troubleshoot test loops used on the during production line to validate product quality, safety, and functional performance of new equipment/parts in critical function areas.
Create and revise standards, policies, and procedures related to development and engineering
Troubleshoot PCs, monitors and equipment directly tied to production line performance
Create and revise standards, policies, and procedures related to development and engineering

Register CR & ECO
Make Work Instruction

Level 3
Monitor critical machine functions to ensure quality and process are correctly followed
Implement projects focused on quality, safety, and productivity throughout product lifecycle.
Apply quality standards to vision inspection software to prevent process defects & market defects
Theme card summary for Defect/Trouble with Root cause Analysis & Countermeasure suggestion

Level 4
Support technical solutions for electrical or mechanical problems during plant set up process and critical line areas.
Assist the development and implementation of new models, and identify solutions for porudt issues of current/new models.
Process Improvement
Analyzing market and industry product trends
Knowledge of CAD, AutoCAD, and CAM software
Ability to visualize theoretical models and design ideas
Support technical solutions for electrical or mechanical problems during plant set up process and critical line areas.
Assist the development and implementation of new models, and identify solutions for porudt issues of current/new models.
Process Improvement
Analyzing market and industry product trends
All other duties as assigned
Level 5
SAP Power user or experienced user
New Model Development experience and CAD Experience

Skills and Qualifications
Education and experience: Each level requires different years of experience with Associate Degree. In the lieu of the degree, high school diploma with 3-4 years of experience required.
Level 1: Associate degree with 0 - 1 year or High school diploma with 3- 4 years
Level 2: Associate degree with 1 - 3 years or High school diploma with 4- 6 years
Level 3: Associate degree with 3 - 5 years or High school diploma with 6- 8 years
Level 4: Associate degree with 5 - 7 years or High school diploma with 8- 9 years
Level 5: Associate degree with 7 - 9 years or High school diploma with 10- 12 years
Knowledge: Reporting, computer skills, problem solving
Skills: Soldering, power tools, maintenance, electrical metric devices(mustimeter, etc), excel(strongly preferred), Microsoft software(strongly preferred)
Must be able to speak, read, and write English
The ability to stand up for 8 - 10 hours a day required
Overtime opportunities possible
The ability to bend, stoop, grip, reach and lift up to 50 lbs. on a repetitive basis
The ability to pass a drug test and background check
Ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions
Must be age 18 or older
