We are looking for an Engineering Technician to join our team!

EOS Defense Systems USA is a world leader in space information and intelligence services, optical sensor units and remote weapon systems for land sea and air.

We are looking for an engineering technician to work alongside engineers, assisting with research, evaluation, design, and quality control processes. They may work in mechanical, electrical or software engineering. Engineering technicians handle all tasks assigned by the Engineer and may also provide update reports. Provide engineering field support for integration and testing efforts. This is an On-Site position.

Minimum Requirements And Qualification

• Associate degree in engineering technology or similar or equivalent experience with more progressively challenging work requirements.
• 3-5 years successful experience.
• Ability to collaborate and remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
• Extensive experience working with different systems.
• Ability to prioritize and manage several projects efficiently
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment interfacing with a variety of functional areas.
• Experience with building military grade cables.
• Experience with assembly and soldering surface mount PCB boards.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US Security Clearance.
  
  

Major Responsibility Areas And Duties

• Working alongside engineers to design, build, and test solutions to a variety of technical problems
• Inspecting and modifying existing designs and prototypes.
• Running tests, diagnostics, and calibrations.
• Analyze operations and offer suggestions for improvement.
• Maintains records and files of all completed engineering work.
• Addresses and resolves glitches and problems with products.
• Answers employee questions about the function and maintenance of products.
• Provides technical support engineers.
• Ensures that all safety processes are observed.
• Able to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
• Complete detailed reports listing requests to technical assistance, steps taken to resolve them, and specific dates/individuals involved.
• Ability to work in team environment interacting with a variety of functional areas and management levels.
• Other duties as assigned, not determined at the time of hire.
