Position Overview: The Treasury Team Lead – Associate Director is responsible for overseeing the financial and monetary operations of the company, including managing cash flow, funding, and financial relationships. This role involves leading a small team, supporting clients, coordinating with internal teams, and liaising with external parties. The Treasury Team Lead ensures efficient and compliant treasury operations, from cash management to risk mitigation and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
Cash Management:
Oversee all cash management functions, including cash concentration, wire transfers, and account funding.
Ensure smooth execution of daily cash management operations.
Policy & Compliance:
Participate in the development and maintenance of Corporate Treasury Accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards.
Supervise global cash management activities, ensuring operational excellence in system planning, implementation, and daily operations.
Stakeholder Interaction:
Serve as the primary point of contact for business units and financial institutions regarding cash management issues.
Ensure payments are executed accurately and timely, reviewing dashboards regularly.
Business Process Improvement:
Lead continuous business process improvement efforts within the treasury function.
Recommend and implement process improvements, including automation, to enhance operational efficiency.
Treasury Management System:
Implement, administer, and monitor the treasury management system to optimize cash management activities.
Reporting & Metrics:
Provide monthly metrics to track departmental activity, allocate manpower effectively, and analyze process cycle times.
Prepare reports for the Treasurer manager on treasury management activities.
Foreign Currency Risk:
Assess, manage, and mitigate foreign currency risks, providing recommendations for hedging strategies.
Documentation & Process Updates:
Document existing processes and update them to address identified issues and process changes.
Relationship Building:
Develop and foster positive working relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
