Summary

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager / Programmer to oversee and manage engineering projects from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. This role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, managing project timelines, and ensuring stakeholder satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timeline, resources, and budget estimates. Team Leadership: Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and subcontractors, fostering collaboration and accountability. Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with clients, senior management, and stakeholders to align project objectives and provide regular updates. Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and costs. Quality Assurance: Ensure that engineering designs and project outputs meet quality standards and comply with industry regulations. Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and implement cost-saving measures as needed to ensure financial objectives are met. Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, meeting notes, and technical specifications. Performance Evaluation: Conduct project post-mortems to analyze performance, identify lessons learned, and implement improvements for future projects. Travel: This position will require travel to customer sites for meetings, project completion, and employee training. Qualifications: Experience: 5 years of experience in project management within the engineering sector. Technical Skills: Rockwell PLC programming software. Knowledge of Food Processing a plus. Leadership Skills: Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams.
