he Capital Project Management function is seeking a Capital Project Manager to lead projects that involve moderate complexity, high risk, and multiple stakeholders. These projects require advanced project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and resource management.

This role reports to the Head of Capital Project Management and is responsible for delivering capital projects on behalf of site operations via a robust stage gate delivery approach. The objective is to improve capital project performance and bring value to site operations through consistent, accurate, and precise delivery of site projects.

This is a hybrid role based at our site in RTP, NC.

Key Responsibilities

• Supports development of front-end planning deliverables for individually assigned project opportunities.
• Manages all aspects of an individually assigned portfolio of capital projects, including budgets, schedule, engineering, construction, coordination, and safety.
• Leads cross-functional teams to achieve project success with respect to functionality, budget, safety, quality, and schedule.
• Ensures successful outcomes of financial/accounting audits for projects managed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field or construction management.
• Master's degree or higher in business or a relevant field (preferred not essential)
• 3+ years of capital portfolio and major project management experience, including 5+ years in pharmaceutical and global roles.
• Proven project management and technical knowledge with demonstrated ability to deliver safe, effective, and fully compliant projects.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities leading capital execution teams in a matrix capacity.
• Excellent communication skills, able to effectively present complex ideas and solutions to executive management and technical experts.
• Demonstrated knowledge/understanding of key non-technical business processes, human relations, finance.
• Advanced HSE and GxP/QA knowledge.
