Job description: As an Engineering Program Manager, you will support Battery Safety new product introduction (NPI), sustaining engineering, and initiative activities. Your responsibilities include developing and implementing project schedules, providing project management support, and ensuring regulatory compliance through collaboration with project partners. You will work closely with engineers to define project scope, document and supervise schedules and achievements, follow up on action items, and schedule and conduct meetings! Additionally, you will summarize the status and risks for all partners.
Key Responsibilities
- We are looking for Project Management experience in Consumer Electronics products with Battery and strong Project and Program Management skills.
- Possessing excellent communication skills, you thrive in both collaborative and independent work environments, are detail-focused with outstanding attention to detail, and collaborate with team members to ensure tasks are completed!
- Consistent track record to facilitate communication and partnership across engineering, marketing, and operations teams.
- Build detailed project tracking and status communication frameworks for assigned regulatory compliance projects.
- Responsible for ensuring the schedules and timelines are rigorously met, especially for the critical path and key achievements, while summarizing work progress and status in slide format for both working level and leadership communications.
Required Skills
- Proven expertise in Program and Engineering Management, with experience in Environmental Compliance and Sustaining Engineering.
- Experienced in Consumer Products with battery integration and proficient in Battery Safety new product introduction (NPI).
- Strong conflict management and negotiation skills.
- 7+ years of professional experience, demonstrating expertise and a consistent record of success.
- Education background – Bachelor of Science or Electrical Engineering or Electronic communication or equivalent.
