Summary

Job Description: The successful candidate will be responsible for managing analytics platform systems requirements and also engineering compute forecasting (including, but not limited to demand forecast, IT/finance reviews, allocation and tracking utilization, etc.) to ASIC HW engineering teams across multiple chipset programs. Secondary responsibilities will include close collaboration with IT on the development and maintenance of tools related to compute demand & utilization. Responsibilities include: Manage requirements of the various analytics systems in development with IT team * Prototype process automation/ new methodology using Excel Macros, and formulas Manage engineering compute demand for the Global SOC organization through efficient collaboration and coordination across multiple development sites and cross-functional departments. Negotiate demand from engineering leads, provide a consolidated report and analytical justification for budget approval Analyzing supply and demand and identify and resolve shortages. Broadcast appropriate notifications to engineering leads. Generate compute hardware related reports using a variety of tools with ITs help. Assist development of forecasting tools that automate the consolidation of demand, generate reports, and publish accurate dashboards. Identifying process improvements and implement/drive efficiency enhancements. Developing pertinent program indicators to push information to internal teams and management. Understanding project constraints, consolidate these challenges and then recommend solutions. Represent engineering in weekly sync-up meetings and provide technical justification for forecast bumps due to roadmap changes Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, Business, or related field OR Associate's degree with 2 years of relevant work experience OR High School diploma with 4 years of relevant experience. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field. PMP certification. 1+ years experience with technical project management including managing resources, mitigating risk, etc. 1+ years experience with business metrics such as customer support tickets, KPIs, etc. 1+ years experience working in a large matrixed organization. Knowledge of System-On-Chip development. Understanding of embedded HW/ ASIC design and architecture is a plus. Physical Requirements Frequently transports between offices, buildings, and campuses up to mile. Frequently transports and installs equipment up to 5 lbs. Performs required tasks at various heights (e.g., standing or sitting). Monitors and utilizes computers and test equipment for more than 6 hours a day. Continuous communication which includes the comprehension of information with colleagues, customers, and vendors both in person and remotely. Comments for Suppliers: 10/19 - new request; supplier call details to be sent via email. Will work remotely until January OR when work from home policy is lifted.
