About the Role

We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to lead project execution, guide product development, and help scale technical operations. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines systems engineering, project management, and RF circuit design.

The ideal candidate will be deeply technical, adaptable, and excited to work in a fast-paced, unstructured environment with high impact potential.

Responsibilities

  • Manage engineering projects from concept to completion, including milestones, timelines, and roadmaps
  • Lead design and development efforts in both hardware and firmware, with a focus on RF systems
  • Oversee a blended team of in-house engineers and external subcontractors
  • Drive systems integration of new technologies and features, including connectivity to future fiber networks
  • Collaborate closely with the original technical founder to capture institutional knowledge and support a smooth transition
  • Establish scalable engineering processes and contribute to long-term organizational growth

Qualifications

  • Strong background in RF circuit design (hands-on or deep technical understanding)
  • Experience in systems engineering and technical project management
  • Proven leadership skills in high-growth or startup-style environments
  • Comfortable in a small, dynamic team setting with limited structure
  • Willingness to be onsite and hands-on, especially during the first year
