Description: Mechanical Dynamics and Analysis, LLC. (MD&A), a world class supplier of power generation repairs, services and parts, is seeking an engineering expert to support the MD&A generator repair and service division as the technical lead as follows: Provide technical support for shop and field related production questions and issues. Review and disposition non-conformance reports, design / production deviations, corrective actions, material substitutions, etc. Review all high end (generator capital) drawings produced by the design team for proper material callouts, dimensioning and tolerancing, special processing etc. Be the technical lead for all Generator Root Cause Analysis. Develop standards and improve workflow processes by creating and/or reviewing technical work instructions and procedures. Review and approve technical datasheet forms and generator technical reports. Develop and maintain technical documentation for reference on critical topics (generator inspection and repair manual, lessons learned, case studies, procedures, specifications etc.). Create and present technical material for customer meetings, trade shows, seminars, and internal meetings. Support customer site meetings as requested, scoping, customer specification reviews, scope of work development, and proposal development for new opportunities. Mentor and train engineers, designer, and other technical resources within the generator service division. Salary based on experience. Requirements: BS/BA Engineering/Technical degree. Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in Generator Field Services and/or repair experience. Proficiency in PC technology. Excellent communication skills.
