ABOUT THE COMPANY This international company has recently raised +100 million €€€ and is looking to hire talented experienced data profiles. Away from the standard old, slow, and not always accurate insurance models, they have developed an AI product to model accurately and reactively risks and premiums in their niche. Experiencing a quick growth in the tech teams, they are looking for an experienced Engineering manager that will lead a team of Data/Software Engineers. ABOUT THE ROLE You will be in charge of 4 to 8 brilliants Software Engineers (includes 1 or 2 tech leads) as Engineering Manager. You will work closely to the different squads of the company, across a variety of responsibilities such as: Managing, coaching and mentoring the team Provide your expertise in software engineering and data science Ensure compliance with best coding practices and project delivery deadlines Participating in the design and roll out of the technical roadmap SKILLS & EXPERIENCE The chosen candidate will have: A PhD in a relevant field (Engineering, Applied Maths, Physics, Stats,…) Expertise in Python and in software engineering and/or Data Science Management experience (as an Engineering Manager or Project Manager) Analytical skills and sense of creativity You are a strong team-player Good communication skills Fluent English Job Type: Permanent Pay: 75,000.00€ - 90,000.00€ per year Work Location: Hybrid remote in 75006 Paris 6e
