To be successful as an Engineering Lead - Vice President, you should have experience with:


  • Can oversees the entire software development lifecycle from design all the way to delivery.
  • Experience in various software designs, languages, and architecture.
  • Ensures that project milestones/goals are meet adhering to the budgets.
  • Effective Leadership skills and able to mentor the team.
  • Effective and Efficient stakeholder management
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of designing and implementing Micro Frontend architecture or microservices concepts in UI development.
  • Showcase expertise in UI development with a focus on Angular/React JS.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and integration with backend services.
  • Experience with state management libraries such as Redux.
  • Experience and knowledge of cloud computing.
  • Cybersecurity and cryptography knowledge
  • Proficiency in modern technologies.
  • Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.


Some of Highly Valued Skills may include


  • Minimum Qualification – B.E. / B. Tech or equivalent.
  • Good Knowledge of Banking Domain.
  • Experience with AWS services and infrastructure.
  • Proficient in CI/CD pipelines and related tools.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with server-side rendering (SSR) and progressive web application (PWA) concepts.
  • Experience and understanding of API gateway integration for seamless communication between microservices.
  • Experience of deployment tools, particularly Chef

Purpose of the role

To lead and manage engineering teams, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions, driving technical excellence, fostering a culture of innovation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align technical decisions with business objectives.

Accountabilities


  • Lead engineering teams effectively, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture to achieve project goals and meet organizational objectives.
  • Oversee timelines, team allocation, risk management and task prioritization to ensure the successful delivery of solutions within scope, time, and budget.
  • Mentor and support team members' professional growth, conduct performance reviews, provide actionable feedback, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Evaluation and enhancement of engineering processes, tools, and methodologies to increase efficiency, streamline workflows, and optimize team productivity.
  • Collaboration with business partners, product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions and ensure a cohesive approach to product development.
  • Enforcement of technology standards, facilitate peer reviews, and implement robust testing practices to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.
