Multiple Shifts Available: 1st Shift - Mon-Friday 0600am-230pm. 2nd shift schedule is Monday-Thursday, 2pm-12am. The shift incentive includes a 10% -15% premium, paid lunch, 3 day weekends, eligibility to transfer to 1st shift as needed. Weekend Shift schedule is Friday-Sunday, 6am-6:30pm. The shift incentive includes a 11.11% shift differential and 3 day workweek. What you can expect as a Engineering - Draft and Design Technician at DAS Aviation: As Engineering - Draft and Design Technician, each day will bring new experiences and opportunities for growth. You will need to have a basic to advanced knowledge of aircraft structures, reading blueprints, working from drawings, fastening systems, procedures and techniques. You will be ESSENTIAL to many FUNCTIONS including: * The proper development of technical data, including substantiation for FAA 8110-3 Approval. * Research processes and procedures for modifying, repairing, and altering components. * Creation and verification of work order planning documents. * Assist shop with the interpretation of drawings, processes and procedures to assist with the repair of components. * Must be able to read blueprints * Basic computer skills to be able to navigate electronic training, manuals, and maintenance data bases, Microsoft office and other Engineering Programs * Effectively and clearly communicate (i.e., speak, write, read) in English * Any other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
