GHD is seeking a dedicated Engineering – Construction Support intern to join our team and provide construction support services for the Maritime and Coastal team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience.

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

• Construction quantity take offs
• Development of construction schedules
• Administrative support for the Project Manager (Assembly of bid packages, copying, communications with prospective bidders, regulatory agencies, and designers)
• Other support for GHD projects (if available)
  
  

Expected Learning Outcomes:

• Organization and process of public works construction projects
• Increased knowledge of marine structures design and construction
• Practice in material take offs and construction scheduling
• Ability to deal with owners, regulators, designers
  
  

What you will bring to the team:

• 3rd or 4th year standing at the end of the academic year
• Engineering / Oceanography background preferred
• Demonstrated communication and problem-solving ability
• MS Excel, Word proficiency
  
  

Salary Range: $23 to $26 per hour
