Position Summary:
Securian Financial is on the lookout for a talented developer with expertise in Mainframe and Informatica to join our dynamic Life & Annuity Actuarial Support Technology team. As a valued member of our agile scrum team, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing data used by actuaries and vendor systems, all within our cutting-edge AWS infrastructure. Our team thrives on innovation and leverages a diverse technology stack, including Mainframe, Informatica, Java, Spring, Spring Batch, SQL Server, and Oracle. Responsibilities include but not limited to:
* Lead impactful projects by executing comprehensive analysis, design, development, testing, integration, and implementation tasks, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
* Innovate and experiment with a test-and-learn mindset, driving continuous improvement and creative problem-solving.
* Provide essential support for business applications, swiftly addressing production issues to maintain seamless operations.
* Champion modernization efforts, including Application Rationalization and AWS migration, enhancing system capabilities and performance.
* Develop deep expertise in Individual Life and Annuity business processes, playing a key role in strategic decision-making and planning.
* Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, fostering collaboration and ensuring alignment across teams.
Qualifications:
* 0-2 years of experience with Mainframe systems.
* 0-2 years of experience with Informatica ETL tools.
* Proficiency in Java, Spring, and Spring Batch frameworks.
* Demonstrated problem-solving skills in complex technical environments.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with system design and analysis a plus.
#LI-Hybrid This position will have a hybrid working arrangement, working in-office for a minimum of 3 days a week.

The estimated base pay range for this job is:
$52,500.00 - $97,500.00
