Required Qualifications VOCATIONAL/EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT: Requires a bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a closely related field. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: * Engineer II requires a minimum of 2 years experience * Engineer III requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in traffic engineering, including traffic modeling and technical leadership. SPECIAL CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES: Requires a valid driver's license and a driving record that is in compliance with City Driving Standards. Engineer-In-Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) license desired for Engineer II. Engineer III requires a PE license. Virginia DEQ Certified Plan Reviewer and/or Program Administrator for SWM is required within 12 months of employment.
