Location: Middletown, CT
Pay Range: $30/hr - $34/hr on W2
In this role, you will be working alongside OEM customer teams performing engineering validation tasks supporting aircraft engine development, testing and certification.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate engine test and/or assembly/tear-down actions between the technicians and IPT/Engineering groups.
* Communicate technical issues to IPT/Engineering groups and work with cross-functional teams to support finding solutions
* Collect and report flight test data and/or engine assembly/disassembly status to IPT/Engineering groups
* Local candidates in Connecticut required. Variable shift work sometimes required
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
* BS in Engineering or Associate degree with relevant work experience
* 2+ years relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
* Strong analytical, creative problem-solving capabilities
* Experience in technical management of engine parts, repair, engine test, engine assembly and disassembly
* Familiar with engine work instructions, part/assembly drawings and materials lists
* Proficient in MS Excel and Powerpoint
* Active security clearance preferred but not required
