Job Summary

The Engine Program Manager is responsible for managing shop visits and supporting our clients. In this role, you will coordinate repairs, create and revise cost estimates, and ensure compliance with customer requirements. Key tasks include providing engine status updates, preparing invoices, and maintaining accurate records in our systems. You will also manage customer satisfaction surveys, analyze results, and implement improvement plans. Strong communication skills and the ability to work with internal teams and clients are essential to succeed in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Manage shop visits
  • Structure complex proposals in adherence to Maintenance Contracts to new and existing customer’s RFQ for single engine repairs or fleets
  • Serve as a liaison between customers and GEM
  • Review and analyze customer proposed work scope, prepare and/or supervise initial cost estimates for existing and new customer’s requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with quote deadlines and requirements
  • Generate reports to management
  • Liaison with internal departments and managers engine status updates
  • Report engine repair progress to customer’s, provide status reports to customer’s and create Inspection Findings Reports
  • Report findings and provide/revise cost estimate
  • Coordinate with accounting to prepare and send invoices per agreed terms
  • Follow up with on payment status and execution
  • Maintain Quantum with up-to-date data for accounting purposes
  • Reconcile invoices in a timely and accurate manner
  • Administer customer satisfaction surveys, document and analyze results and create improvement plans based on customer’s inputs
  • Schedule and conduct shop visits with customers.

Qualifications

Mandatory knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies:

  • Strong technical background on Turbofan engines such as CFM56 , V2500, CF6 or similar
  • Strong consulting/negotiation skills with the capacity to deliver superior customer service
  • High proficiency with MS Office, i.e., Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point

  • Highly organized and detailed-oriented with flexible work style
  • Commitment to ethical standards, confidentiality, and personal integrity
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Aerospace or Industrial preferred), Project Management, Financial Engineering, Sales and Marketing or equivalent.
  • Language – bilingual preferred
  • Experience as engine shop or airline engineer, inspector or technician
  • Knowledge of Quantum software
  • Knowledge of Salesforce Software
