We are hiring an Engagement Manager in the US to focus on IP and strategy matters related to hardware technologies. You’ll work with clients navigating high-stakes disputes and strategic decisions, such as assessing whether a GPU used in an AI data centre application may infringe upon another company's chip design. These engagements require strong technical understanding and commercial insight.
Who We’re Looking For
We are particularly interested in candidates with a background in
Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, ideally with experience across hardware systems. This might include circuit design, semiconductor process technology, network architecture or systems engineering. Many of our matters focus on the lower levels of the technology stack, and your ability to speak fluently in that space will be essential.
Candidates Often Bring a Mix Of
- A degree in EECS or a closely related field, ideally at postgraduate level (Masters or PhD)
- An MBA or equivalent commercial training
- Professional experience at a leading technology firm or consulting
You might be coming from industry with deep technical knowledge and a shift toward strategy, or from a consulting role with strong client delivery and leadership skills. In either case, we value intellectual curiosity, clear thinking and the ability to lead teams through ambiguity.
Engagement Managers at Keystone AI scope and lead project work, manage client relationships and contribute to business development. You’ll collaborate with colleagues from diverse academic and professional backgrounds and work closely with faculty affiliates from top institutions including MIT, Stanford and Harvard.

Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline
- MBA or equivalent commercial training
- 5+ years of post-graduate experience, ideally in consulting, product or strategy roles
- Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of hardware systems and business drivers
- Excellent communication skills
- Leadership experience with cross-functional teams
- Ability to manage multiple complex workstreams in parallel

US Salary Range: $235,000 - $245,000, plus an annual discretionary bonus, 401k contribution, and competitive benefits package. Actual compensation within the range will depend upon the level the individual is hired into based on their skills, experience, qualifications.
