Construction Project Manager – Distributed Energy Systems

📍 Remote (Preferred location NY or CA) | 💼 Full-Time | 💵 $130,000–$168,000 Base plus personal and company bonus that has paid out year over year!

We design, build, and operate cutting-edge projects including microgrids, CHP systems, energy storage, and fuel cells—delivering energy resilience and decarbonization to mission-critical facilities, campuses, and communities.

We’re looking for a Construction Project Manager who thrives in a collaborative, cross-functional environment. You’ll lead the execution of complex energy projects from planning through commissioning, managing subcontractors, budgets, and client expectations to ensure excellence across every phase of deployment.

🔧 What You'll Do

Oversee implementation of distributed energy projects, including CHP, energy storage, fuel cells, solar, and microgrids

Manage engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) schedules and cost tracking

Collaborate with internal engineering, sales, procurement, and development teams

Direct field execution through subcontractors and internal construction managers

Lead client and stakeholder meetings; manage permits, safety, and compliance

Maintain project performance against scope, budget, and timeline

Travel to project sites as needed (approx. 20–25%)

✅ What You Bring

5+ years of construction or project management experience in energy or infrastructure

Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field

Familiarity with DER technologies such as microgrids, CHP, and energy storage

Strong communication and leadership skills, comfortable managing field teams and client relationships

Proficiency with MS Project, Excel, and project management tools

A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with high accountability
