Summary

Job Title: Energetic Test Engineer Job Description Lead and execute testing strategies for energetic materials, ensuring adherence to OP-5: Ammunition or equivalent safety standards. Manage day-to-day testing operations, laboratory equipment, and personnel with a focus on operational safety, regulatory compliance, and process efficiency. Responsibilities * Perform in-depth testing and analysis of energetic systems, chemicals, and formulations to validate performance, quality, and safety. * Apply expert knowledge of maintenance techniques and testing procedures relevant to energetic systems and materials. * Review and contribute to technical documentation, including technical data packages, standard operating procedures (SOPs), quality production documents, and process documentation. * Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices for the handling and testing of energetic materials. * Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to support development, testing, and troubleshooting initiatives. Essential Skills * Must have experience with energetics. * Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, chemical materials, or related field). * Active Clearance. * Working knowledge of OP-5 safety regulations or similar standards is preferred. Additional Skills & Qualifications * Strong understanding of various testing methodologies and maintenance practices for energetics systems and formulations. * In-depth knowledge of regulatory and safety standards applicable to energetics testing, development, and manufacturing. Work Environment * The position requires working onsite for 5 days a week at Indian Head. The role involves using laboratory equipment and adhering to strict safety protocols. * *Relocation offered. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $160000.00 - $180000.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
