At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a professional Endpoint Support & Integration Engineer to join our Braine-l'Alleud, Belgium team.

What will you be doing in this role:

  • Lead scoping, requirements gathering, prioritization, and baseline definition for mid-level initiatives, ensuring stakeholder input and traceability.
  • Plan and manage systems development projects, selecting appropriate methods, tools, and ensuring efficient resource use, progress monitoring, and compliance with architectural, security, and privacy standards.
  • Define and communicate development roadmaps.
  • Provide technical leadership for system configuration, integration, and testing; develop integration plans, document builds, manage test environments, record configuration items, and drive continuous improvement in tools and processes.
  • Support Workplace Services, overseeing the full lifecycle of Managed Devices (Windows, macOS, iOS).
  • Act as the highest escalation point for complex device issues; troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems in coordination with L1/L2 teams and cross-functional units.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to minimize recurring issues and service disruptions.
  • Implement and maintain authorized software changes, adhering to quality, testing, and security protocols.
  • Provide Level 2/3 support, including emergency on-site assistance.
  • Ensure 24/7 system availability through proactive monitoring.
  • Apply industry best practices aligned with Institution-specific standards.




Requirements

What do you need to succeed in this position?

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field, with at least 2 years of relevant IT systems management experience. Alternatively, a minimum of 6 years of extensive and progressive experience in the function may substitute for formal education.
  • Proven ability to identify, assess, and integrate emerging technologies into large systems and to develop technology roadmaps.
  • Extensive hands-on experience managing Windows Server and client OS in large-scale environments (10,000+ endpoints).
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft technologies: Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO, MECM (formerly SCCM).
  • Experience with cloud-based operations, including Intune, O365 administration, Teams, and Exchange Online.
  • Good understanding of authentication mechanisms (e.g., 2FA, AAA) and security concepts such as PKI, least privilege, and data protection (at rest/in transit).
  • Demonstrated experience in Windows client design, implementation, support, and administration in distributed environments.
  • Background in coaching or supervising technical staff, coordinating patching/upgrades across teams and remote sites, and maintaining system documentation.
  • Good knowledge of English

Desirable

  • Advanced/graduate degree in a relevant field or certifications related to listed technologies.
  • Familiarity with data classification and protection technologies.
  • Knowledge of Trellix endpoint security, DLP, and host-based firewalls.
  • Experience with Lansweeper Server.
  • Certification and/or experience in COTS storage or client OS management (Windows/macOS/iOS/iPadOS).
  • Working knowledge of ITIL and service management practices (e.g., SLA compliance).
