End User Support Technician

Location: Kansas City, MO



We are looking for a skilled End User Support Technician to join our team in Kansas City, MO. This is a contract position that requires onsite presence and offers flex 9/80 scheduling, allowing you to work nine hours a day for nine days within a two-week period, with one extra day off every two weeks.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and upgrade computer equipment for both Employee-Owners and Contingent Workers.
  • Provide prompt and effective troubleshooting and technical support, emphasizing customer service and teamwork.
  • Handle imaging, configuration, installation, repair, and routine maintenance of computer systems.
  • Resolve hardware and technical issues efficiently.
  • Manage and update tickets in ServiceNow, ensuring timely resolutions and excellent customer support.
  • Offer technical assistance in-person and remotely.
  • Maintain and track device inventory and assignments.
  • Assist with software installations based on licensing requirements.
  • Prepare workstations for new hires and support office relocations.
  • Collaborate with IT Service Owners to address complex issues.
  • Provide tier-1 AV hardware troubleshooting and support for on-site presentations.
  • Document solutions for recurring issues and update knowledge base articles.
  • Participate in Problem and Change management processes.
  • Adhere to all company policies and standards.


Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong understanding of computer hardware and operating systems.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Self-motivated and proactive.
