Must Have
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or MIS or equivalent
• Min 4 years of experience as Systems Engineer or EUC Desktop Support Engineer at Client Site location
• Exp in Desktop OS, Windows, MAC OS, Imaging SCCM, Asset Inventory Management, providing break-fix support to end users at Site
How your role makes difference
• We are looking for Desktop Support Engineers with varying levels of experience.
• As a Desktop Support Engineers, you will support end users providing L2 support to end users working in Banking environment.
• In this role, you will work with a team built on collaboration, communication, focus & motivation to deliver excellent service & support. Our team is responsible for troubleshooting incidents working on service tasks. Imaging Laptops handing end user queries, Managing asset inventory etc
Key responsibilities:
• Manage stakeholders i.e end users at the site
• Troubleshoot and resolve Incidents & Service Requests.
• Manage incident queues & incident intake channels.
• Take ownership of incidents & communication with customer as required.
• Respond in a timely fashion to reactive or proactive incidents.
• Write re-usable Knowledge Articles for Incident and Service Requests handled
• Detail accurate information in case documentation.
• Coordinate internally with other support groups in a timely fashion.
• Capable to lead the team
• Help asset and procurement team for Asset scanning and managing inventory
Key skills/knowledge/experience:
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems, including installation and configuration.
• Familiarity with printers, networks, and network printer installation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in using IT support, system support, hardware troubleshooting, desktop support, Windows installation, printer troubleshooting, network support, hardware support, network printer installation, outlook configuration, and IT services tools.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on Windows and Mac operating systems.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex issues.
• Maintain inventory of hardware assets and ensure proper disposal of obsolete equipment.
