Responsibilities
- Support employees and clients by promptly addressing benefit-related questions, claims, billing issues, and inquiries, ensuring responsive and accurate assistance.
- Manage all aspects of the enrollment process, including new group setup, eligibility, qualifying events, terminations, quoting, proposals, and plan design clarification.
- Collaborate with insurance carriers on renewals, policy changes, and issue resolution to maintain seamless plan administration.
- Maintain strong communication with producers, keeping them informed on account activities, assisting with prospects, and participating in client meetings to address insurance needs.
- Deliver high-quality service with a positive attitude, upholding core departmental values - honoring commitments, being organized, thorough, helpful, and prompt.
- Contribute to professional growth by participating in seminars, staying current on industry knowledge, and actively mentoring and training team members.
- Effectively prioritize workload, proactively seek support when needed, and provide dependable support in growing, retaining, and servicing client accounts.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required; college degree preferred. Must have an active Life and Health license and 3+ years of experience in employee group benefits, including knowledge of enrollment systems and compliance.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), with strong listening skills, attention to detail, and effective presentation abilities.
- Capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
- Able to sit for extended periods and adhere to business casual dress code in a client-facing role.
- Responsible for local travel to client and carrier sites during the workday; occasional out-of-town travel may be required.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license, insured vehicle, and legal eligibility to drive for client meetings and transport enrollment materials as needed.
- Expected to manage logistical tasks such as organizing and delivering materials for renewal and enrollment meetings, ensuring preparedness and professionalism.

Salary range is $50K to $75 per year.
