The MROS (Mixed Reality Operating system) Base platform organization brings new platforms and products to life. They are responsible for bringing up and delivering the core system, sensors and OS features for the platforms powering all Meta MR (Mixed Reality) devices. Our team builds the firmware for all virtual reality products enabling customers to interface and interact in the Metaverse (via headsets and controllers). The team has a history of shipping devices that users love and we have a roadmap for the next few years. Our team's goals are defined by product architecture, product development, firmware innovation & working on technologies that increase our competitive edge in the market. The firmware team has started a number of high impact initiatives that will shape the future of VR (Virtual Reality) products and VR product development. Our team is looking for an Engineering Manager with a background in embedded development to lead a number of projects & initiatives within the team. We look forward to working with those who have experience solving complex problems and working with a smart team to create the next wave of technology.MS or BS in Computer Science or Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent 10+ years experience in developing and shipping Firmware for consumer electronics products 2+ years of experience in directly managing and leading teams.
