At Secury360, we are redefining perimeter security through smart edge technology and powerful cloud AI. Our S360 boxes proactively detect real threats in real time, without false alarms. Today, we’re scaling rapidly across Europe, the Americas, and Oceania, working with leading distributors and installers worldwide.
We’re a small, high-performing team where proactivity, technical excellence, and taking ownership are part of daily life. Our culture is open, ambitious, and fun: we trust each other to lead, to execute, and to make a real impact, together.
What you will do
As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will help design, build, and maintain the core software that powers our S360 Boxes — intelligent edge devices that run advanced AI for intrusion detection.
Your key responsibilities:
- Software development: Design and implement new features with monthly updates to thousands of deployed devices.
- Linux setup: Build, configure, and optimize Linux environments (kernel, device tree, root filesystem, BSPs).
- AI pipeline integration: Work closely with our AI experts to embed their AI models and NVIDIA DeepStream pipelines.
- Cloud system integration: Collaborate with cloud developers to optimize connectivity and data flows between edge and cloud.
- Reliability and maintenance: Monitor, maintain, and improve device performance and stability in production.
- Hardware collaboration: Work with our hardware partners on new generations of the S360 box.
- CI/CD & quality: Improve our embedded development processes, focusing on continuous integration, deployment, and observability.
What we are looking for
We are looking for a hands-on, experienced engineer who loves working on production-grade embedded systems:
- Solid experience with embedded Linux development, preferably 5+ years.
- Linux internals expertise: kernel, bootloaders, device trees, root filesystem management.
- Strong C/C++ programming skills; good software architecture mindset.
- Experience with build systems for embedded Linux and CI/CD in general.
- Good knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, Ethernet, WiFi, LTE) and security fundamentals (encryption, authentication, PKI).
- Bonus skills: Experience with GStreamer, CUDA, Python, Microsoft Azure IoT, Docker, MQTT, C#.
- Additional plus: Background in computer vision, video streaming, IoT edge observability, or electronics design.
- Mindset: Pragmatic, self-driven, eager to learn, and excited to work in a fast-moving environment.
What we offer
- Impact: You will work directly on products used worldwide, with real influence on our technology.
- Ownership: Freedom and responsibility to lead your projects and propose new ideas.
- Hybrid working: Work from home 1–2 days a week; join us in Zonhoven for collaboration and innovation.
- Career growth: Learn, grow, and evolve as part of an international scale-up adventure.
