Robotics Middleware & Perception Engineer – Onsite (India)

Are you an engineer driven by real-time systems and robotics innovation? We're looking for a Robotics Middleware & Perception Engineer to join our client's exciting project focused on advancing autonomy through robust middleware and sensor integration.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and optimize ROS 2-based middleware to support reliable and low-latency communication in autonomous systems.
• Implement and maintain real-time navigation stacks (e.g., Nav2) and perception pipelines.
• Integrate multiple sensors (LiDAR, IMU, cameras) for robust SLAM and localization.
• Collaborate with systems and embedded engineers to ensure seamless performance in real-world deployments.

Key Skills

• Proficient in ROS 2 (DDS, QoS, nodes & topics)
• Experience with SLAM and navigation in robotic systems
• Strong background in C++, Python, and real-time programming
• Hands-on with Linux systems and simulation tools (Gazebo, RViz)

Bonus Skills

• Familiarity with Nav2 and MoveIt
• Knowledge of AMRs or mobile robotics platforms
• Experience with GPU acceleration (CUDA/OpenCL)
• Exposure to embedded real-time OS (RTOS)
• Interest in autonomous logistics or industrial robotics
• Contribution to open-source ROS 2 projects
