Job Role: Embedded Software Engineer

Location: Oshkosh, WI

Pay Rate: $50-$60/hr. on C2C

Job Description:

The client is seeking a skilled and motivated Embedded Software to join our team onsite in Oshkosh, WI. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in C programming, unit testing, and hardware/software integration within embedded systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute unit tests for embedded software modules written in C.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to perform hardware and software integration testing.
• Analyze test results, debug issues, and provide detailed reports.
• Support verification and validation activities throughout the product lifecycle.
• Work closely with design engineers to understand functional requirements and ensure product quality.

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in C for embedded systems.
• Experience in writing and executing unit tests using industry-standard frameworks.
• Solid understanding of hardware/software integration and debugging techniques.
• Experience with embedded development environments and tools (e.g., oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, JTAG, etc.).
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
