All aboard: explore your role with us

Televic Rail is on the lookout for an Embedded Software Engineer who enjoys both configuration and development work. You will mainly be responsible for configuring audio and network solutions tailored to clients specifications, but you will also be contributing to feature development and bug fixing from the start - building the foundation to grow into a more development-heavy role.


  • Configure embedded systems for audio and networking functions, based on tools developed with our Berlin team.
  • Translate customer specifications into practical features that ensure smooth onboard communication.
  • Contribute to software development: bug fixing and feature implementation in C/CC++, especially where client needs go beyond standard functionality.
  • Support troubleshooting in live projects, especially where audio and network-related challenges arise.
  • Engage with embedded software in a Linux environment.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of legacy projects, ensuring continued functionality and addressing issues as they occur.
  • Learn, grow and evolve into a more senior engineering role as your technical scope expands.


Track your skills - how you can add value to the team

  • You hold a Bachelor's and Master's degree informatics, ICT or computer science.
  • You are eager to build on both your configuration and development skills.
  • You are comfortable with the basics of C/CC++ and interested in embedded systems and networking.
  • Knowledge of Linux, networking tools or embedded platforms is a plus.
  • You are a team player who values collaboration and continuous learning.
  • Fluent in English and motivated to contribute to international projects.
