Your day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Developing Embedded Software – Writing and optimizing code in C for ARM-based microcontrollers, ensuring efficiency and reliability
- Debugging and Troubleshooting – Identifying and fixing software issues using debugging tools such as JTAG, SWD, and logic analyzers
- Hardware-Software Integration – Collaborating with hardware engineers to ensure seamless communication between firmware and ARM-based hardware components
- Performance Optimization – Improving execution speed and memory usage of C programs running on ARM architectures through compiler optimizations and low-level programming techniques
- Documentation and Code Review – Maintaining clear documentation of software design, writing technical reports, and reviewing code to ensure high-quality standards
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- Extended knowledge of programming language C
- Extended knowledge of ARM architecture
- Knowledge of Profibus, Modbus, and communication protocols
- Knowledge of Linux and/or QNX
- Embedded software development in the industry (machine control, etc.)
