We are looking for an Embedded Software Development Engineer to take ownership of development of low-to-middle level firmware (related to infrastructure and manufacturing) for the AtlasPRO UAV.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement software for embedded devices and systems from defining requirements to production and commercial deployment
Design, develop, code, test, and debug system software
Integrate and validate new product designs
Support software QA and optimize I/O performance
Provide post-production support
Interact with hardware design and development
Assess third-party and open-source software
Basic Qualifications
BS/MS in Electrical, Electronics, Communications, or Mechatronics Engineering
At least 2 years of experience in C/C++ on embedded platforms
Technical English writing and reading ability for research and documentation
Software development and knowledge of software standards
Preferred Skills And Experience
Experience with applications using ARM architecture microcontroller and/or FPGA basic hardware knowledge
Understanding of digital electronic circuits and hardware
