Title: Embedded Software Developer – DO-178C | C/C++ | Real-Time Systems

Location: Plano, TX / Rockford, IL (Onsite)

Client: GE Aviation

Employment Type: Full-Time (FTE)

Salary: $90,000 – $100,000 per annum

Experience: 5 – 15 Years

Citizenship Requirement: U.S. Citizen

Key Responsibilities

• Develop embedded real-time software in accordance with DO-178C Level A requirements
• Work on requirements development and traceability using IBM DOORS Classic
• Design systems using UML or similar design-based tools
• Support model-based development; experience with Cameo is a plus
• Operate within virtual machine-based development environments
• Write and test software in C/C++
• Use IBM Rational Team Concert for version control and project tracking
• Conduct and support software verification and validation, including:
• Structural Coverage Analysis
• DC/CC Analysis
• Source-to-Object Analysis
• Model Coverage Analysis
• Memory, Stack, and Heap Usage Analysis
  

Technical Environment

• Operating Systems: Wind River VxWorks, LynxOS, Linux, FreeRTOS
• Processors: ARM-based platforms
• Minimum 5 years of engineering experience in safety-critical or embedded software development
• U.S. Citizenship is required due to project nature
