We’re Hiring: Embedded Hardware/Firmware Engineer (Contract or Full-Time)

Sole Capsule is building the next big innovation in footwear tech — combining smart display hardware with app-driven controls, sneaker authentication, and digital integration.

We’re looking for an Embedded Hardware/Firmware Engineer to join our team as we scale. You’ll take over firmware flashing, hardware maintenance, and embedded system updates for our products like the Sole Pod and Sole Crates.

What You’ll Do:

- Flash, test, and maintain firmware on Sole Capsule devices

- Collaborate with our embedded software team to ensure smooth code integration

- Handle hardware tools (soldering, PCB adjustments) when needed

- Support ongoing product updates and troubleshooting

What We’re Looking For:

- Experience with microcontrollers (ESP32, STM32, etc.) and embedded C/C++

- Comfort working hands-on with hardware (soldering, flashing, debugging)

- Familiarity with connected device ecosystems (BLE/WiFi a plus)

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
