This position reports to
ELEM M&S Manager
Your role and responsibilities
・The service engineer is in charge of quick chargers for electric vehicles, of which approximately 1,200 units have been installed throughout Japan.
・The service engineer will perform commissioning and adjustment, annual inspections, and repairs in case of malfunction of the quick chargers.
・The clientele will be R&D facilities of automobile manufacturers, dealers, and companies that install charging infrastructure.
・The installation locations of the chargers range from R&D facilities and dealerships of automobile manufacturers to highways and convenience stores.
・We have about 100 third-party engineers nationwide, and we will educate and train them.
・Our service area is all over Japan.
Qualifications for the role
- Education: High school graduate or above (electrical)
- Language: Japanese native level, English business level (reading, writing and speaking required)
- 【Required Requirements】
- Knowledge and experience in electrical systems (understanding of hardware configuration and parts replacement)
- At least 3 years of experience in servicing and selling electrical equipment
- Understanding of software controls and ability to use specialized tools
- Standard office application skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Driver's license
