Summary

Position Overview:

Trillium Teamologies is seeking an experienced Ellucian Unidata Colleague Programmer/Analyst for a contract role. This individual will work independently or as part of a collaborative team to support, develop, and enhance systems within the Ellucian Colleague ERP environment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a higher education setting.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, design, code, test, debug, and document application programs within the Ellucian Colleague environment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across Colleague modules, including Core, ST, CF, and HR.
  • Utilize Colleague Studio to complete program modifications and enhancements.
  • Develop and maintain custom Colleague integrations using ETHOS, API’s, and Data Connect tools.
  • Write and execute queries within the Colleague system and support SaaS-safe integrations.
  • Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including flowcharts and specifications for end-users and IT staff.
  • Work closely with various departments to gather requirements and translate them into functional programming solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records in the IT service request management system, including ticket updates and communications.
  • Adhere to deadlines, manage project milestones, and provide regular status updates and time reporting.
  • Developed and executed system and user-level test plans.
  • Maintain flexibility to adapt to changes in workload and departmental needs.



Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of six (6) years of programming and analysis experience within the Ellucian Colleague environment.
  • Hands-on experience with Colleague ERP/Self-Service, Envision Basic, and Colleague Studio.
  • Strong understanding of the Unidata database and the ability to interpret and extract data across formats (forms, reports, web).
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and test Colleague module customizations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of higher education administrative processes sufficient to understand departmental needs and workflows.



Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using Ellucian ETHOS, Data Connect, and API development.
  • Familiarity with SAP BI, MS SQL, or SAP Business Objects Web Intelligence for advanced reporting.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Prior work with remote collaboration tools and real-time communication systems.
