For our client, a leading technology company, we are currently looking for an Lab Technician (m/f/d) in Linz (Austria).

Your Responsibilities

• Perform manual soldering, including components down to 0201, or demonstrate a strong willingness to learn.
• Conduct PCB reworks, handling, and soldering processes.
• Read and interpret schematics and layouts for assembly tasks.
• Mount and connect cables for test boards.
• Maintain and support already installed test equipment.
• Assist with annual factory calibration, ensuring accurate documentation and logistics in spreadsheets.
• Monitor system logs to identify defective Devices Under Test (DUTs).
• Conduct first-level debugging of malfunctioning DUTs (e.g., classification of issues, restarts).
• Gain expertise and develop further lab-related skills with growing experience.

Your Profile

• Strong IT knowledge (mandatory).
• very good soldering skills
• Experience in professional email communication.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word for document creation and editing.
• Ability to perform efficient web searches for troubleshooting and support.
• Solid English communication skills (both written and spoken, mandatory).
• Knowledge of ESD protection (optional).
