Job Description

At LS Technologies, a Tetra Tech company, is seeking Electronics Integration Technicians to support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) with installing, maintaining, and integrating systems within the National Airspace System (NAS). This role requires extensive travel across the U.S. and focuses on IT networking, digital telecommunications, and electronics system integration. Candidates should have experience with network infrastructure, telecommunications systems, and troubleshooting electronic systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and integrate electronic and networking equipment at FAA sites nationwide.
• Provide technical assistance during digital and IP telecommunications cutovers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve telecommunications and IT networking issues.
• Conduct site surveys and develop integration plans for electronics and network equipment.
• Ensure compliance with FAA safety and cybersecurity standards.
• Work with FAA engineers and program managers to implement system upgrades.
• Maintain detailed documentation of system installations, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
  
  

Qualifications

Required:

• 3+ years of experience in IT networking, telecommunications, or electronics integration.
• Experience with LAN/WAN networking, IP-based telecommunications, and digital systems.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for network and electronic systems.
• Understanding of FAA telecommunications, VoIP, and radio communications systems.
• Ability to travel extensively across the U.S. for extended periods.
  
  

Preferred

• FAA or federal telecommunications/IT project experience.
• Experience with NextGen, LTE, VoIP, or cloud-based networking.
• Knowledge of FAA cybersecurity and digital communications standards.
• Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or fiber optics certification.
  
  

Additional Information

• Must be eligible to obtain necessary FAA suitability/public trust clearance.
• Clean driving record required.
• Significant nationwide travel required.
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and work in varied weather and terrain conditions.

Compensation (Pay Bands)

Salary at LST is determined by a wide array of factors, such as (but not limited to) education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, location, and clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.

The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and is based on full-time, 40-hour/week status. Part-time staff receive compensation at an hourly rate. The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represent the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements) and are just one component of LST's total compensation package for employees. In compliance with local laws, LS Technologies presents this reasonable compensation range as a guideline for roles in California, Colorado, New York, or Washington D.C.
