Position: Electronic PCB Design Engineer Location: Bengaluru Employment Type: Contract to Hire Experience Level: 2-4 Years JOB Code: EHEA-002 Key Responsibilities: PCB Layout Design: Design and develop PCB layouts according to project specifications and requirements. Gerber File Generation: Create and manage Gerber files for PCB manufacturing. BOM Generation: Prepare and maintain the Bill of Materials for PCB projects, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Schematic Capture: Work with schematic diagrams and translate them into PCB layouts. Design Reviews: Participate in design reviews to ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements. Collaboration: Work closely with other engineers and departments to ensure seamless integration of PCB designs into overall project development. Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of design processes, changes, and specifications. Required Skills and Experience: Educational Background: B.E/B.Tech – Electronics and Communication or Related Stream. Experience: 2-4 years of experience in PCB design and layout. PCB Design Software: Proficiency in using PCB design software (e.g., Altium Designer, Eagle, OrCAD). Gerber Generation: Experience in generating and managing Gerber files for PCB manufacturing. BOM Management: Ability to generate and manage accurate BOMs. Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in design and documentation. Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot design issues. Communication Skills: Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment. Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of Industry Standards: Familiarity with industry standards, Embedded Hardware Design and SMPS Design, best practices for PCB design. Manufacturing Process Understanding: Understanding of the PCB manufacturing process and ability to liaise with manufacturers.
