📣 Now Hiring: Mechanical CAD Engineer – Onsite in San Diego, CA

We’re looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical CAD Engineer to join a dynamic Hardware Engineering team supporting the development of innovative wearable technology. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to high-impact products by collaborating across mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing teams.

🔧 Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain precise 3D CAD models and assemblies using SolidWorks
• Create production-ready 2D drawings with GD&T and proper tolerancing
• Translate design concepts into manufacturable parts in collaboration with engineers
• Coordinate ECAD/MCAD data exchanges with PCB layout teams
• Manage CAD libraries, part numbers, and configuration control
• Participate in design reviews and product development strategy

📍 Location: Onsite role based in San Diego, CA – candidates must be local or willing to relocate.

✅ Requirements:

• 5+ years of mechanical CAD experience, ideally in consumer electronics
• Expert in SolidWorks; experience with Siemens NX a plus
• Skilled in working with Class A surface files
• Familiarity with DFM, GD&T, and small precision mechanical parts
• Strong organizational, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills

✨ Nice to Have:

• Experience with wearable or miniaturized device design
• Familiarity with PDM systems like Teamcenter or Arena
• Knowledge of materials and product reliability
• Hands-on prototyping experience
