Job Description:

Mechanical engineer with experience in designing sheet metal and bus bar parts.

Experience in Electronics cooling simulations. Initiate and coordinate team through the complete PLM cycle of a product (Concept, Design, BOM, Material selection & Proto build). Working closely with production manufacturing team and vendors to deliver timely cost effective and reliable designs.

Ensure the quality of the release documents to Eng. - Drawings, BOM, and Documents. Design for Reliability, Manufacturability, Assembly, Testing & Serviceability. Assist Engineering and respective factory teams for proto assembly & smooth transition to MP.

Skills/Abilities:

• Proficiency in Solid works design and drafting, Knowledge on AutoCAD.
• Thorough knowledge of Mechanical design of 3-ph, 400V/480V Power Electronics Systems (50kVA to 500kVA) such as UPS, PDC, IT etc.
• Able to manage project individually.
• Enclosure and Mechanical design, thermal system design (heatsink, fan, airflow etc.).
• Sheet metal design, stress/strength/shock/vibration analysis, CAD (solidworks, AutoCAD, Visio,etc).
• Knowledge of Thermal simulation software.
• Assembly documentation.
• Design for Manufacturability and Service.

Qualifications: Master/ first class graduate engineering degree in any of the following disciplines: Mechanical Engineering

Experience: 3-6 years
