MEP Design Manager (Mechanical or Electrical)

You’ve led complex MEP design on high-spec builds. You speak the language of consultants, contractors, and clients. And now, you’re ready to lead the charge on hyperscale data centre projects.

This is a chance to work on large-scale greenfield developments, where you’ll shape design, drive standards, and get things built the right way.

What’s on your desk:

• Own the MEP design side of hyperscale data centre builds
• Lead design reviews at 30/60/90 stages with contractors, tenants, and 3rd party consultants
• Guide the GC and consulting engineers to deliver the Basis of Design and meet tenant specs
• Validate, review, and optimise all mechanical or electrical designs end-to-end
• Manage change control and ensure alignment across internal and external stakeholders
• Act as the technical voice of reason in weekly design meetings
• Work closely with project managers, cost and construction teams to drive timelines and budgets

Who we’re looking for:

• 10+ years in mechanical or electrical design for complex infrastructure (data centre experience ideal, not essential)
• Solid foundation in design review, calculations, specs, and coordination with consultants
• Able to read the room, lead senior discussions, and influence decisions with clarity
