Position Summary
The Electrical Technician provides support on the Production floor by fixing failed product and keeping the production lines running by troubleshooting and maintaining equipment at our Brooklyn Park, MN location.
This position reports to the Technical Manager I.
According to the FLSA (Fair Labor Standards Act), this position is classified as:

What You'll Be Doing
* Interpreting electronic schematics, assembly drawings, and other design and assembly documents
* Troubleshooting and reworking failed units from production
* Assisting in conducting performance tests to resolve issues with automated test equipment and robotic technology
* Performing verification tests for functionality and/or quality to ensure product performs to expectations
* Accurately documenting test results and records all deviations and modifications from the original design
* Collaborating with engineers to identify, define or solve product performance problems
* Generating reports based on findings as needed
* Conducting internal calibration or verification of equipment
* Able to complete directed tasks within assigned time-frames
* Assigned continuous improvement tasks
* Assists in 5Sing Production lines
* Other duties as assigned

Required
* Associate's degree or military training in Electronics Systems Technology, Engineering Technology, Robotics Technology or related field
* 3-5 years of experience
* Familiarity with soldering
* Experience working with basic hand tools
* Familiar with various types of test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, etc.)
* Experience with automated test systems or robotic technology preferred
* Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite, and experience using Excel to log and communicate data

Pay Range: $21.65-$36.35
The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
