Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Electrical Site Engineer to manage site execution activities for Substation and/or Overhead Transmission Line (OHTL) projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems, and a solid understanding of industry standards and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and execute site electrical works related to substation or OHTL projects as per project plans and technical specifications.
• Oversee installation of equipment such as transformers, switchgear, control panels, protection systems, conductors, insulators, and related infrastructure.
• Coordinate with civil, safety, and project management teams for seamless execution.
• Perform and witness testing and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and keep all stakeholders updated.
• Ensure all works comply with quality standards and HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) regulations.
• Interpret and implement technical drawings, SLDs (Single Line Diagrams), and wiring diagrams.
• Supervise subcontractors and ensure proper execution of work within deadlines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any site-related electrical issues promptly.
• Participate in inspections with clients and consultants and ensure proper documentation.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical construction, with at least 3 years in substation or OHTL projects.
• Knowledge of electrical standards such as IEC, IEEE, and local utility regulations.
• Strong knowledge of testing equipment and commissioning procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and project management tools.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in remote project sites as required.
